With this set, you own all the various scissors you need to perform your daily tasks as a nurse in one go.
The set consists of three scissors: bandage scissors, nursing scissors, and Kocher clamps.

Bandage scissors are used to safely and efficiently cut through bandages, medical gauze, or dressings.
The lower blade of the scissors is longer and easily passes under the bandage.
The blunt tip ensures that the patient’s skin is not damaged.
This type of scissors is also known as Lister scissors, named after the inventor of these scissors, the physician Baron Joseph Lister.
Because this is a left-handed bandage scissor, the blades are positioned exactly the opposite way compared to a right-handed bandage scissor.

The nursing scissors are also known as surgical scissors.
These scissors can be used for a variety of purposes, such as cutting bandages, plasters, or sutures.
Since this is a left-handed nursing scissor, the blades are oriented exactly the other way around compared to a right-handed nursing scissor.

The Kocher clamp is a handy pair of scissors used as a clamp.
As a nurse, you can use this type of scissors to hold catheter and IV tubing or sutures.
Because the serrated blades are identical on the top and bottom, this clamp does not differ from the right-handed Kocher clamp in a standard scissor set.
